Happy New Year from MEGIN! We were pleased to attend IESS in Dubai this January to spread awareness on how MEG is a valuable tool in presurgical evaluation. It was wonderful to exhibit with our distributor in the region, AMICO. We were also thrilled to see MEG on the agenda with a luncheon symposium presented by Vahe Poghosyan, PhD, Head of the MEG unit and Consultant of Neuronavigation at KFMC, Saudi Arabia.

At AES 2023, MEGIN was delighted to announce a partnership with FIND Neuro, a disruptive start-up that reconstructs brain network maps to enable treatment of neurological diseases. FIND Neuro originated at Mass General Hospital and was co-founded by Dr. Noam Peled (CEO), Prof Steven Stufflebeam (Head of the Advisory Board), and Avi Yaron (Executive Chairman), developing a pioneering platform aimed at improving neurosurgical outcomes for patients. It was an exciting two days at Epilepsy Awareness Day presented by Sofie’s Journey, meeting and connecting with the epilepsy community to share how MEG is a powerful tool in presurgical evaluation. We were proud to support two excellent talks at this expo featuring MEG.

We’re delighted to be sponsoring the 1st MEG Symposium at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg. The aim is to share the latest developments in MEG research and includes a hands-on session for MEG beginners, as well as a workshop on combining brain stimulation and MEG. We were delighted to be at ISACM in Japan at the end of May, and connect with the members of this society again in-person. We were proud to have Liisa Helle, Product Manager, also present a seminar, “strengthening best practices in clinical MEG: see the new MEGIN platform in action.” Our team also visited our customer-partner recently at the University of Florida, Gainesville to support with MEG training!

We were delighted to spend some time in Memphis, Tennessee. We had a special visit touring the Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital MEG Lab with a group of key thought leaders, and were proud to exhibit at Le Bonheur’s 16th Annual Pediatric Neurology Symposium. We are also excited to sponsor MEG Nord 2023. This is the 6th Nordic MEG conference, “dedicated to the development of MEG research, technology and clinical applications in Northern Europe and the Nordic countries.

The TRIUX™ neo has been installed at Campus Biotech, Geneva, officially becoming the first MEG in Switzerland. The group has made a fantastic video highlighting the arrival of the MEG and installation, featuring interviews with John Fulford, Managing Director, MEGIN, and Gwenaël Birot, MEEG-BCI Facility Manager, Human Neuroscience Platform (HNP), Campus Biotech.

We are delighted to announce MEGIN OY is expanding their operation into Japan and launching MEGIN KK, Tokyo this October. We are also pleased to announce the upcoming launch of the MEGIN Community, which will provide an easy to use centralized platform for communication between Users and the Customer Care Team.
